1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MockResponse services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
MockResponse provides stateful backend emulation and API mocking for software development. Our services allow you to import OpenAPI specs, install catalog backends, create mock endpoints, and simulate realistic backend behavior with persistent entity state.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
- Use the service for production traffic (mocking only)
5. Payment Terms
All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe
- Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing period
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy
- We reserve the right to change our prices with 30 days notice
- You can manage your subscription and payment methods through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal
Your payment card information is sent directly to Stripe and is never stored on MockResponse servers. For questions about payment processing, you may also refer to Stripe's Terms of Service.
6. Service Level Agreement
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our services. Enterprise customers are eligible for custom SLAs with guaranteed uptime and support response times.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all mock configurations and data you create. We retain ownership of the MockResponse platform, including all software, algorithms, and documentation.
8. Limitation of Liability
MockResponse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
